Federal Tyres ProAM Drift Series Round 1

What's up guys. This week at Speed City KL was the Federal Tyres ProAm series. For those who don't know, this drift series is basically a platform for amateur and professional drifters to compete. The winner will receive a wild card and sponsorship by Federal Tyres to enter the Formula Drift Asia series.

Some of the names competing last weekend were Ariff Johanis and wife, Azrina Jane Abdullah, Bullzai Hamdan, Mervyn Nakamura, Kevin Rajoo, Ben Satrio, Jason Tan, Ee Yoong Cherng and many other drifters from Malaysia and beyond. The day started at noon with a briefing from Tengku Djan followed by open practice and qualifying.

Tandem battles took place that night. We saw incredible performances by the drifters with many 'one more times' required since it was a but tough for the judges to decide the winner. This is due to the drifters going all out during the tandem battles.But at the end of the night, a winner has to be decided. Here are the results.

2nd: Ng Seng Nian
3rd: Ahmad Khusyairi
4th: Timothy Yeo

Top Speed Crew New Year's BBQ

What's up guys, I hope ya'll had a great New Year. I got my resolution on my mind. On New Years Eve, I was invited by Top Speed Crew (TSC) for a midnight BBQ on the top of Genting Highlands. Briefly we were cooking chicken and camping in the car park. Aside from the massive traffic jam up the mountain, we were treated with a huge fireworks display conducted by First World.

The next day, we woke up around 7am in our cars. Sleepy and tired, we all had a quick photoshoot of the rides in the carpark. Since we never booked a hotel, we all slept inside our cars. With 2013 arriving and the end of the world not happening....yet, we got a lot in store from TSC. Until next time, peace! Happy New Year.

Saturday Night Drift Assault 57.0

What's up guys. I hope everybody had a great New Year celebration. On the last SNDA of 2012, Speed City KL had a Team Drift Battle. We got drifters like Wan Boss, Angah Tanaka, Loyai, and of course Tengku Djan.

We also got Emcee Willxdstroyr mixing the music on that night. This week, SCKL invited the proton Saga BLM Owners Club (PROSBOC). I gotta admit, with stance like that, their rides got really dope stance.

In the final battle, two teams battled it out. It was Team Kepala Perang vs Team Corolla Perkasa. It was and intense battle where they had to do one more time. But at last, Team Kepala Perang rose on top consisting from Tengku Djan, Wan Boss and Loyai. Well, I guess that's all from me. I would also like to wish our local drift star, Tengku Djan a happy birthday and a Happy New Year.
