What's up guys. Recently I went out of the street and performance comfort zone and went for something a bit more baller. I recently met with a guy known as Jacko, where he is a salaryman during office hours but after that he rolls in a VIP style Honda Jazz or known in Japan as a Honda Fit.
Story was, he like all the typical stuff of cars. Tuning, engine swaps, drag racing. But a few years back, he came across an article that featured a that really caught his attention. All blinged out with curtains and such. Then when he was in East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak), he saw that style again, and again. Jacko couldn't sleep at night just wondering what kind of style was it.
After years past, he moved back to Johor. One day he met up with and old time car enthusiast from Johor Bahru and he was driving a blinged out Cefiro with the same styling cues of the rides he saw in East Malaysia. It was called VIP. Now it all finally came together.
Fast forward to 2014, Jacko's ride has every styling cue that a real VIP ride should have. Since nowadays, a lot of people who mods in VIP style never gets it right. It always ends up looking like a ricer UFO car. They always end up making it look messy and over-doing it with the LED strips. Not this Honda though.
The exterior of this car is kept clean with a Fabulous Type A body kit, Eagle Hawk Black paint with 3D Rainbow finish sitting on the trending Works Meister S1Rs.
Unlike his ricer counterparts, Jacko really tries his best to tuck all his LED lighting only to leave a hypnotic glow visible to those who view the car. But I have to say, I was really digging his audio set up with an LED graphic equalizer. It actually bounces with the song played. (Just have to set the volume loud enough).
Then lastly I wondered how does he achieve the clean and low stance. That's when Jacko pulls out the remote and started playing with the ride height. That's it, air suspension. This car is running on bags.
I gotta say, respect to this guy for redefining VIP style in Malaysia. If you wanna see his car, don't bother looking at your typical car show because he rolls with the stance and kanjo crews of Shah Alam called the LowJunkies. Well, that's all from me. Until next time yo. Peace!
